Let’s take a look and see how many injuries happened when it was a MY9 game.

Duke Castiglione is the son of long-time Sux broadcaster Joe Castiglione!!!!! He was the Sux broadcaster for almost 30 years and retired just last year.

They’re probably doing a father-son voodoo thing on the Yanks!!!

That said, great news on Phelps.

  3. Pat M. May 24th, 2013 at 10:32 pm

I thought Phelps shouldn’t have even been on the hill when he got hit on that come backer…..

  4. MTU May 24th, 2013 at 10:34 pm

They’ll ice it and give him some treatment.

If he’s real lucky he won’t even miss a turn.

  5. MTU May 24th, 2013 at 10:35 pm

    Why Pat. M ?

His pitch count was relatively low.

  6. ObviousMan May 24th, 2013 at 10:38 pm

Pat m is just looking to blame someone.

  7. Ys Guy May 24th, 2013 at 10:39 pm

ramiro pena getting alot of playing time with the bravos and doing well

    32g 71 ab, 2 hr (!) 8 rbi, .812OPS. good for ramiro!

  8. UpState May 24th, 2013 at 10:47 pm

Can we trade Nunez for Ramiro Peña ?

    Probably wouldn’t fly with Atlanta.

  9. MTU May 24th, 2013 at 10:47 pm

I’m hoping Moore is due for a clunker.

    He’s 8-0.

We’d be glad to oblige him.

Boesch just walked into managers office.

  11. MTU May 24th, 2013 at 10:51 pm

Tomorrow’s pitching matchup will be a study in contrasts.

A genuine bone fide power Pitcher against a crafty, soft-tosser.

    Both lefties.

    2 completely different styles.

I’m hoping Nuno is on and completely flummoxes the Rays.

They’ve never seen him live. There probably isn’t even a lot of video on him.

  12. Pat M. May 24th, 2013 at 10:53 pm

Hey ObviousMan….If you go back to the game thread you’ll see how I posted that I was hoping that The Yanks would pull him in the 7th in order to save some innings for down the road. Granted the game was a low pressure game for him however he’s on an innings limit and this game was in the bag……..So I’m hardly looking to pin blame on anyone ….

I think I may have jinxed us by saying earlier roster issues frequently work out with injuries and non-performance.

This is not how Curtis wanted his free agency year to go. Looks like a lot more of Ichiro.

  14. MTU May 24th, 2013 at 10:57 pm

    Thanks for the response Pat.

    My thoughts were different.

I was glad he had an opportunity to go a little longer and to finish strong.

He should be good for around 150 innings.

As a #5 guy that might be enough. Especially if they manage it well later on.

I don’t think tonight was the night to cut him off.

Guess reasonable people can disagree though.

  15. ObviousMan May 24th, 2013 at 11:03 pm

You people hated Pena when he was on the Yankees

  16. MTU May 24th, 2013 at 11:03 pm

I guess if Phelps can’t take his turn Nova gets the shot ?

    Or Warren ?

I’d have to think it would be Ivan though.

The idea that a 40 HR outfielder that can play center is unappealing to other teams just doesnt have any basis in reality. Worse players are signed to big contracts. BJ Upton for example.

Time to turn out the lights.

See ya’ when the Sun crosses the Horizon again.

    Have a good night.

    One last thing.

    I hate Astroturf.

Man, I go out for a steak dinner and two more guys get hurt, wtf.

    No more steak!

“You people hated Pena when he was on the Yankees”

I loved the kid and felt so bad for him when he was sent back down. I always said I hoped that he’d get picked up by another team after he was DFA. It was clear that he loved playing for the Yankees and he did get some nice hits for the Yanks when he played. The problem is that people tend to forget the good when one not-so-good thing happens, when it comes to the secondary players.

    Good for Pena.

    not good for you anyways

Neal or musty may get an opportunity now. But I’d only like to see then brought up with regular playing time. I’m one of the few who doesn’t mind seeing ben Francisco as the 5th of over the youngsters because I’d rather Francisco rot on the bench and musty, Neal, almonte play every day.

  24. Run it Out May 24th, 2013 at 11:26 pm

Duh innings has “:Duh” in his name for a reason. Both injuries this year are a result of HBP. Not elbow or shoulder injuries or hamstring injuries. He and his agent would laugh at that offer.

  25. fantasygame101 May 24th, 2013 at 11:27 pm

The great ben Francisco will carry this team tomorrow.

  26. Pat M. May 24th, 2013 at 11:28 pm

Run it out…..Good to see you back even if it’s for a quick visit

  27. Run it Out May 24th, 2013 at 11:33 pm

Hi Pat…I drop in every now and again when time permits. Some of the posts are good for a laugh and warrant a response. Good to see you around with your insight.

  28. blake May 24th, 2013 at 11:45 pm

    Thank goodness

  29. Tyler May 25th, 2013 at 12:01 am

Huge that Phelps isn’t seriously hurt. Brutal luck for Grandy this year… looks like they’ll just have to keep trucking on like they did earlier in the year without him.

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin
