We’ve talked a lot about just how much the Yankees have been forced to use their depth this season. Here’s exactly how deep the Yankees have gone. These are the players who have gotten at least one start at each position. The number in parenthesis is the number of times each player has started at each position.

Robinson Cano, Jayson NixThe Yankees have literally had five different players make at least five starts at shortstop, and not one of them is Derek Jeter. They’ve had four different players start at least nine games at third base, and not one of them is on the current active roster.
