I posted a transcript of this group interview last night, but it’s worth hearing the awkwardness of it all. This is Alex Rodriguez answering questions — sort of — about the Saturday New York Times story in which his lawyers made significant accusations about the Yankees and Major League Baseball. Rodriguez mostly ducked the questions, but the whole situation was surreal enough that it’s worth hearing.
Cell phone camera video isn’t allowed in the Yankees clubhouse, so all I have is the audio (playing over a picture of Rodriguez). This clip ends just as someone tried to direct the conversation toward last night’s game, which was predictably not very successful, or necessary for that matter.
