    Makes you sad to see:

    “Pitching Matchups”.

    Sounds so optimistic: “Pitching Matchups.”

I’m still hurting from the loss last night. I don’t disagree with Joba entering the game.
Based on who was available in the pen and who was not available, Joba was the right choice.
After all, Joba was pitching well of late.
What bugs me most about his performance is once again the absence of the CU and CurveBall.
So of course a hitter, any hitter can sit slider and adjust to the FB.
The lowrie at bat was a perfect example. 3-1 pitch is going to be a FB because Joba can’t throw his slider for a strike and he won’t risk walking the first 2 hitters of the inning.
Then Lind comes up and once again he throws a terrible slider that any rookie ball hitter could deposit into the seats.
I don’t think having Claiborne or Betances in the game instead of Joba was the right move either. So let’s not go there!!

What an amazing career he had. Never seen someone play with so much passion. Inspired many lives including mine. Forever my role model #AP46

OF Jason Heyward has been activated today from the disabled list (fractured jaw). He will start in CF and bat leadoff.
    Good to hear.

Pettitte is leaving in part due to the crumbling state of the team. Isn’t that encouraging?

    He said this?

I do wonder if Cano sees the same thing. He probably doesn’t want another year of Wells providing him lineup protection.

Pretty sure Cano is not so stupid to not know next year he would have at least Teixeira and Soriano behind him.

Andy has been a great Yankee. So many memories.

Yankeefem, I assume you will be at the Thursday game as well? I will be too. Wow, this is going to be a tough week at the stadium.

I’d like to see Righetti come to the mound for Giro, to make the calls to the bp to bring in MO during these games
