Rivera named finalist for two Players Choice Awards

Today the Major League Baseball Players Association announced its finalists for the Players Choice Awards, which are voted on by the players themselves. Yankees closer Mariano Rivera is a finalist for two of the awards, including the Marvin Miller Man of the Year. The Players Choice Awards will be announced on MLB Network on November 4 beginning at 8 p.m. ET. Here are all of the awards finalists:

Outstanding Player: Miguel Cabrera (Detroit), Chris Davis (Baltimore), Mike Trout (LA Angels)
Outstanding Pitcher: Yu Darvish (Texas), Aníbal Sánchez (Detroit), Max Scherzer (Detroit)
Outstanding Rookie: Chris Archer (Tampa Bay), José Iglesias (Detroit), Wil Myers (Tampa Bay)
Comeback Player: Scott Kazmir (Cleveland), Victor Martinez (Detroit), Mariano Rivera (NY Yankees)

Outstanding Player: Paul Goldschmidt (Arizona), Andrew McCutchen (Pittsburgh), Yadier Molina (St. Louis)
Outstanding Pitcher: José Fernández (Miami), Clayton Kershaw (Los Angeles), Francisco Liriano (Pittsburgh)
Outstanding Rookie: José Fernández (Miami), Shelby Miller (St. Louis), Yasiel Puig (Los Angeles)
Comeback Player: Marlon Byrd (Pittsburgh), Francisco Liriano (Pittsburgh), Troy Tulowitzki (Colorado)

Player of Year: Miguel Cabrera (Detroit), Chris Davis (Baltimore), Clayton Kershaw (Los Angeles)
