You know, now that I think about it, I don’t believe I’ve ever actually covered a high-profile lawsuit in which a star athlete is suing his league office. Always something new, I suppose.
Anyway, the first in-person part of Alex Rodriguez’s lawsuit against Major League Baseball has been pushed back a few weeks. The first conference between the two sides — to discuss procedural issues and such — was supposed to happen on Thursday, a week from today. Now a federal judge has pushed it back to November 7.
So, if you’re curious to see how this thing is going to play out, you’ll have to wait just a little while longer.
