Leyland stepping down in Detroit

Tigers manager Jim Leyland is stepping down, having told his players after the American League Championship Series that it was time for someone else to do the job. Ken Rosenthal reports that Leyland felt the Tigers needed a younger manager. Leyland turns 69 in December. He has managed the Tigers since 2006, winning two American League pennants.
