The Yankees are worth $3.3 billion, making them the most valuable franchise in baseball according to Bloomberg. Second on the list are the Dodgers, valued at $2.1 billion.

Bloomberg has a pretty cool graphic explaining where the value of each team comes from. It’s worth noting that Bloomberg’s rankings have the Indians, Royals and Rays listed as the least valuable teams in Major League Baseball. All three finished ahead of the Yankees in the American League wild card race this season.
