Xander Bogaerts 3B
Stephen Drew SS

Clay Buchholz RHP

RHP Clay Buchholz (0-0, 5.40 ERA in the postseason)

TIME/TV: 8:15 p.m. ET, FOX

CRAIG AVAILABLE: Cardinals first baseman/DH Allen Craig didn’t look good running down the third base line last night, and he didn’t look good laying on the ground after the play at the plate, but manager Mike Matheny said an X-ray came back clean and Craig will be available off the bench.

BUCHHOLZ QUESTIONABLE: The Red Sox committed to keeping Clay Buchholz on schedule to start this Game 4, but he’s dealing with a shoulder injury and has been open about his lingering concerns about making this start. Wouldn’t be shocking to see the Red Sox go to the bullpen quickly if Buchholz comes out sluggish.

PREGAME CEREMONY: Bob Gibson is throwing out the ceremonial first pitch in St. Louis. The country group Rascal Flatts will perform the anthem.
