Logan reportedly moving toward deal with Rockies

According to Troy Renck out in Denver, the Rockies are “moving toward (the) finish line” on a deal with Boone Logan.

The Yankees have said they want to upgrade their current left-handed relief situation, but it appears a reunion with Logan might not be in the cards. I’ve written before that Logan seems under appreciated by some. Ultimately, I think the Yankees are going to miss him. He wound up being a pretty steady and valuable piece of that otherwise Melky Cabrera/Javier Vazquez trade.

For now, the Yankees best left-handed options seem to be Cesar Cabral and David Huff.
